The evidence base for hydrolysed collagen peptides

Hydrolysed collagen consists of low-molecular-weight peptide fragments derived from native collagen via enzymatic hydrolysis. While native collagen is abundant in animal connective tissues and bone broth, the hydrolysed peptide form is specifically engineered for high intestinal permeability and bioavailability.
