What the study showed, in plain terms

Twenty-five trial review reports favorable hydration, elasticity and wrinkle signals in several studies, but most included RCTs were at high risk of bias; adverse effects were uncommon in the short trials.

Key findings

Hydration improved in 10/15 evaluable trials, elasticity 10/13 and wrinkles 9/10; TEWL inconsistent and most trials high risk of bias.

What this study can and cannot tell us

Search ends April 2023 despite 2026 publication, so not the latest primary-trial corpus. Descriptive vote-counting does not substitute for effect estimates. Trial overlap and mixed formulations; no finished DoNotAge product test.
