What the study showed, in plain terms

This publication examines clinical memory test domains, overall memory quotient. Study population or evidence base: 109 healthy adults aged 18–65. Intervention or exposure: MagteinPS multi-ingredient formula 2 g/day, containing magnesium L-threonate, phosphatidylserine and vitamins C/D, or placebo.

Key findings

The multi-ingredient formulation improved memory-test performance compared with placebo across the measured domains.

What this study can and cannot tell us

Effects cannot be assigned to magnesium L-threonate alone because phosphatidylserine and vitamins were also present. Short-term test improvement is not proof of slower clinical cognitive decline.
