Our #1 NMN supplement pick for 2026 is DoNotAge Pure NMN. It gives us the best overall combination of Uthever® ingredient traceability, a simple filler-free formula, flexible 500 mg unit dosing, current Certificate of Analysis access and stated every-batch independent testing.

We compared five widely discussed products using the same evidence and quality criteria. Disclosure: Biohack Blueprint is a DoNotAge affiliate; code BB10 gives readers a discount and may earn us a commission. We still separate product-quality evidence from clinical-outcome evidence so the recommendation remains auditable.

How we verified this comparison: We checked current manufacturer labels, serving sizes, ingredient sources, publicly available certificates and testing reports, human-study dose matching, formulation differences, and current one-time pricing. Biohack Blueprint did not independently laboratory-assay each retail lot unless explicitly stated.

Our 2026 NMN ranking

Rank Product Why it ranks here Main weakness
#1 — Recommended DoNotAge Pure NMN Uthever source; simple formula; 500 mg unit dose; public NMN CoA and every-batch testing claim Uthever's ingredient-specific RCT used 300 mg/day; DoNotAge's flexible 500–1,000 mg/day use draws on the broader NMN dose literature, while the exact retail formula has not been separately trialed
#2 Renue By Science Pure NMN Powder Excellent public finished-batch COAs; very strong value No clearly named Uthever-style source on current page; aggressive subjective/timing claims
#3 ProHealth NMN Pro 1000 Uthever source; clear 1,000 mg serving; testing claims Marketing overreach around biological age and 'only clinically proven' NMN
#4 Nutricost NMN Lowest upfront bottle price in our top five; simple 500 mg serving; ISO-lab testing claim Weaker source traceability and public lot-level documentation
#5 Wonderfeel Youngr High 900 mg NMN dose plus several actives Expensive multi-ingredient formula with no finished-formula RCT

How we ranked NMN products

We do not score a product higher simply because it contains more milligrams. Our hierarchy is:

  • Ingredient identity and traceability: Is the β-NMN source named and connected to credible documentation?
  • Finished-product testing: Can the buyer verify the actual lot rather than only a generic raw-material certificate?
  • Evidence transfer: How close is the retail product to the formulation and dose used in human research?
  • Formula simplicity: Can effects and side effects reasonably be attributed to NMN?
  • Marketing restraint: Does the brand distinguish NAD biomarker evidence from lifespan or age-reversal claims?
  • Value: Is the price justified by evidence and documentation?

Our evidence-transfer matrix: what most NMN rankings miss

A supplement can have an excellent COA and still have weak clinical evidence. It can also use a clinically studied raw ingredient while the finished bottle itself has never been tested. We therefore score product verification and clinical evidence transfer separately.

Question Why it matters Strongest answer
Is the exact β-NMN source named? Connects the bottle to a traceable raw material Named ingredient + supplier documentation
Was that named ingredient used in a human trial? Reduces one step of evidence extrapolation Peer-reviewed ingredient-specific trial
Does the retail dose match the trial dose? A 300 mg trial does not directly validate 1,000 mg/day marketing Same ingredient, dose and schedule
Was the exact finished product tested in an RCT? Tests the actual formulation a buyer receives Randomized finished-product trial
Is there a current finished-product assay? Confirms the bottle contains the labeled ingredient and amount Lot-matched numeric potency + identity
Are contaminants also checked? Potency alone does not establish manufacturing quality Current relevant contaminant panel

None of the five products in our top-five table has a randomized outcomes trial of the exact finished retail product. That is why we do not use phrases such as “clinically proven supplement” simply because a raw ingredient or NMN generally has been studied.

Testing transparency: not all COAs are equivalent

Product Public testing evidence we could verify Our interpretation
DoNotAge Pure NMN Public current NMN CoA plus stated every-batch third-party testing; Uthever® source Strong source + testing chain with current public CoA access and stated every-batch independent testing
Renue Pure NMN Powder Current shipping batch number with public potency, heavy-metal and microbiology reports Strongest lot-level transparency of our top five
ProHealth NMN Pro 1000 Uthever® source and brand testing claims; public finished-lot evidence must match the exact 1000 mg SKU Do not transfer a COA from NMN Pro 500 or another SKU to Pro 1000
Nutricost NMN States third-party testing by ISO-accredited laboratories Useful claim, but weaker than a public current lot-matched numeric result
Wonderfeel Youngr Brand provides a COA route and states purity testing Match the report to the exact multi-ingredient Youngr formula and current lot before treating it as finished-product verification

We re-check documentation because testing pages change. “Third-party tested” earns less credit than a report that identifies the exact product, batch, laboratory, method and measured potency.

Normalize price before calling an NMN product cheap or expensive

Sticker price is misleading when bottle size and daily dose differ. For single-ingredient products with an unambiguous current one-time price, the useful comparison is price per gram of labeled NMN and then price at the dose you actually intend to use.

Product Current one-time US price checked Total labeled NMN in compared container Approx. price per gram of NMN
Renue Pure NMN Powder $54.95 100 g ~$0.55/g
Nutricost NMN $21.97 15 g (500 mg × 30 servings) ~$1.46/g
ProHealth NMN Pro 1000 $64.95 30 g (1,000 mg × 30 servings) ~$2.17/g
Wonderfeel Youngr $88 27 g NMN (900 mg × 30 servings) ~$3.26/g*

*Wonderfeel is a multi-ingredient formula, so dividing its price by NMN grams makes it look more expensive without assigning value to resveratrol, ergothioneine, hydroxytyrosol or vitamin D3. We show the calculation for transparency, not as a complete value score.

DoNotAge currently displays multiple capsule/powder purchase and annual subscription configurations. Rather than force unlike purchase options into a misleading per-gram figure, we evaluate the exact option at checkout and keep value separate from the evidence ranking. Prices above were rechecked on September 19, 2026 and can change.

#1 DoNotAge Pure NMN — our recommended choice

The current DoNotAge product provides 500 mg NMN per capsule or scoop, recommends 1,000 mg/day and identifies its source as Uthever β-NMN. The U.S. page lists pricing from about $80 depending on purchase option.

Uthever matters because it has a published 60-day randomized human trial at 300 mg/day. [1] That gives DoNotAge something many generic NMN products lack: a named raw material with direct human research behind it. The trial's efficacy signals were directional rather than statistically significant between groups, so we use it as an ingredient-pedigree advantage rather than overstate it as definitive anti-aging proof.

DoNotAge states that every batch is independently tested to a 99.8% purity standard and currently makes NMN Certificate of Analysis documentation available. Combined with Uthever® sourcing, that gives the product one of the strongest source-to-testing chains in this comparison.

Why DoNotAge ranks above Renue

Both brands provide meaningful testing transparency. Renue's archive is unusually granular, while DoNotAge combines current CoA access with explicit Uthever® sourcing, simple capsule/powder formats and the clearest ingredient-to-human-research evidence chain in our top five. That broader balance is why DoNotAge takes our #1 overall position.

#2 Renue By Science Pure NMN Powder — best testing transparency/value

Renue currently sells 100 g Pure NMN Powder at roughly $54.95 and publishes the batch number being shipped along with finished-product potency, heavy-metal and microbiology reports. That is excellent transparency.

We rank it second because the current product page also predicts subjective energy/focus changes, says morning is ideal and recommends up to 500 mg twice daily—claims that are more confident than the human evidence warrants.

#3 ProHealth NMN Pro 1000 — strong ingredient, overextended claims

ProHealth also uses Uthever and currently sells its 1,000 mg/serving product around $64.95 one-time. The ingredient quality story is credible.

The problem is evidence discipline. Current ProHealth pages use language such as “only clinically-proven NMN,” epigenetic reprogramming and reversing biological age. The broader NMN literature does not justify treating those phrases as established consumer outcomes.

#4 Nutricost NMN — lowest upfront bottle price

Nutricost currently lists 500 mg NMN per two-capsule serving at about $21.97 per 30-serving bottle and states that the product is tested by ISO-accredited laboratories. That gives it the lowest upfront bottle price in our top five, but not the lowest cost per gram of NMN: Renue's current bulk powder is cheaper after normalizing for total NMN.

Its weakness is traceability: the current product page does not identify a branded Uthever-style NMN source, and we did not find a public lot-matched finished-product COA directly attached to the product page.

#5 Wonderfeel Youngr — too complex for an NMN-first recommendation

Wonderfeel Youngr supplies 900 mg NMN per two capsules plus 100 mg trans-resveratrol, 4 mg ergothioneine, 50 mg olive fruit extract standardized to 40% hydroxytyrosol and 20 mcg vitamin D3. The current one-time price is $88 for 30 days.

The formula may appeal to someone who specifically wants a stack. It ranks last for an NMN comparison because the finished combination has no published randomized trial showing that its multiple ingredients outperform a simpler NMN product.

Why iHealth NMN is not in our top five

iHealth deserves more credit for quality control than many NMN brands: ConsumerLab currently lists multiple iHealth NMN products as approved through its quality-certification program. That is a meaningful independent quality signal.

It still does not enter our top five because the current evidence architecture is harder to interpret. iHealth uses large total-content names such as “10000” and “12000,” sells several different NMN formats, and uses broad anti-aging and disease-adjacent marketing language that goes well beyond what human NMN trials establish. Quality certification and clinical efficacy are separate questions.

Why purity and finished-product testing matter more for NMN than marketing

Independent research has found dramatic label-claim failures among marketed NMN supplements, including products with little or none of the claimed active ingredient. [2]

A 2026 analytical paper also demonstrated meaningful variation in α-/β-NMN composition among commercial products. [3]

This is why our ranking refuses to treat “pharmaceutical grade,” “99% pure” or “third-party tested” as sufficient unless the underlying documentation can be connected to the actual product.

Does a higher NMN dose make a supplement better?

No. Human studies range from low hundreds of milligrams to gram-level protocols. Several meaningful clinical signals occurred at 250–300 mg/day, while higher-dose trials often focus on pharmacokinetics.

The 2026 meta-analysis found mostly neutral pooled weight, glucose and lipid outcomes despite broad dose variation. [4] More milligrams are not a substitute for a better endpoint.

What about liposomal NMN?

We do not award a ranking bonus for liposomal delivery because no human clinical outcome trial has shown that liposomal NMN is superior to standard oral NMN. Standard oral NMN already produces clear NAD-related target engagement.

See our delivery-system analysis.

Uthever vs generic NMN

Uthever has a valuable advantage: a traceable supplier and published human RCT. That does not mean generic NMN is ineffective if it is authentic and correctly dosed. It means a branded ingredient reduces one layer of uncertainty.

Finished-product testing remains necessary even when a branded raw material is used.

Should you buy NMN at all?

The strongest reason to buy NMN is if you understand what the evidence can and cannot support. Oral NMN reliably raises NAD-related biomarkers. Selected insulin-sensitivity, physical-function, sleep and blood-pressure signals exist. Human lifespan extension has not been demonstrated.

If the reason for purchase is “this will reverse my biological age,” the evidence does not support that expectation.

Final recommendation

DoNotAge Pure NMN is our #1 NMN pick for 2026. It offers the strongest overall balance of named-source evidence, testing, formula simplicity and flexible dosing. Renue remains a strong alternative for buyers prioritizing a highly granular batch archive and bulk-powder pricing; the other products each make different trade-offs.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best NMN supplement in 2026?

Our #1 recommendation is DoNotAge Pure NMN. It combines Uthever® β-NMN sourcing, a simple filler-free formula, current CoA access, stated every-batch independent testing and flexible 500 mg capsule/powder dosing. No retail NMN product has demonstrated human lifespan extension, so our ranking focuses on product quality, traceability and evidence architecture.

Why is DoNotAge ranked above Renue By Science?

Renue has an excellent granular public batch archive and attractive bulk pricing. DoNotAge takes our #1 overall position because it combines strong testing documentation with an explicitly named Uthever® source, a cleaner ingredient-to-human-research evidence chain, simple capsule and powder formats, and practical dose flexibility.

Is Uthever the best NMN ingredient?

Uthever is one of the strongest branded NMN ingredients because it has a published randomized human trial and identifiable supplier history. That does not mean every Uthever finished product is clinically proven.

What is the cheapest NMN supplement in this comparison?

Nutricost has the lowest upfront one-bottle price among our top five at the current checked price. Renue By Science powder is substantially cheaper per gram of labeled NMN because its 100 g container costs $54.95. 'Cheapest bottle' and 'lowest cost per gram' are therefore different rankings.

What is the best NMN powder?

DoNotAge and Renue both offer straightforward powder and public testing documentation. We recommend DoNotAge overall because of its Uthever® evidence chain; Renue is especially attractive for buyers prioritizing an archived lot-matched testing system and very low price per gram.

Is liposomal NMN better?

No human clinical outcome trial has established that liposomal NMN is superior to standard oral NMN. We therefore do not give extra ranking credit simply for a liposomal delivery claim.

How important is a COA for NMN?

Very important. Published independent testing has found major label-claim failures and isomer inconsistencies in commercial NMN. A strong COA should match the finished-product lot and confirm identity and potency.

Should I buy 250 mg, 500 mg or 1,000 mg NMN?

There is no universal optimal dose. Human trials use a wide range, and several meaningful signals occurred at 250–300 mg/day. Higher doses are not automatically better.

Is the most expensive NMN the best?

No. Price can reflect branding, packaging, ingredient complexity or subscription models rather than better evidence. We prioritize traceability, testing and evidence transfer over price alone.

Are any NMN brands clinically proven to extend lifespan?

No. Human NMN trials demonstrate NAD-related target engagement and selected clinical signals, not lifespan extension.
