Dr. Khaled Mahmoud is an ICU physician and the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Biohack Blueprint. The site exists because he saw the same pattern too often — patients arriving on the unit, emergency room, or clinic with a shelf of supplements bought on the strength of a manufacturer landing page, no dose that matched a published trial, no idea whether the label reflected what was in the bottle. Biohack Blueprint is the site he wanted them to have read first.

His day work is critical care. Intensive care medicine is the specialty that lives closest to the primary literature — the trials, the doses, the endpoints, the honest limitations — because the wrong answer at the bedside is not a philosophical inconvenience. That discipline is what he brings to the reviews on this site. When a supplement's marketing claim would not survive a five-minute conversation with a colleague, it does not survive an editorial review here either.

The reviews are written to a clinician's standard. Every claim is cited to peer-reviewed primary sources. Manufacturer claims are fact-checked and pushed back on where they overstate the evidence. Where the topic falls within a specialty outside critical care — neurology, endocrinology, musculoskeletal medicine — the review is signed off by a named member of the medical advisory board with training in that field. The affiliate partnership with DoNotAge is disclosed transparently on every product page. Nothing about the commercial relationship changes what the evidence says.
