What the study showed, in plain terms

Key findings

Bisglycinate produced a modest additional improvement in insomnia severity compared with placebo, with a small effect size. Other psychological outcomes did not significantly differ.

What this study can and cannot tell us

Self-reported sleep outcomes, short duration and a borderline primary comparison. This trial tested bisglycinate rather than L-threonate.
