What the study showed, in plain terms

This study engineered a DHA-apigenin hybrid to improve antiplatelet activity and oral exposure.

Key findings

The hybrid inhibited multiple platelet-activation pathways more strongly than its parent compounds in vitro, and an olive-oil formulation increased measured apigenin bioavailability by 262% in mice.

What this study can and cannot tell us

The tested molecule is a synthetic hybrid, not standard apigenin. The work does not justify replacing prescribed antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy with supplements.
