What the study showed, in plain terms

Both injected-HA and oral-treatment groups improved knee scores and pain over three months. The oral regimen included Boswellia during its first 20 days and there was no placebo group, so the study supports feasibility of an oral HA-containing regimen rather than isolated HA efficacy.
