What the study showed, in plain terms

This pediatric trial found no significant between-group improvement on the evaluated ABC, SRS-2 or ADOS-2 behavioral outcomes, providing an important null counterweight to earlier positive autism studies.

Key findings

Behavioral scores improved in both groups but did not differ significantly between sulforaphane and placebo at the assessed time points.

What this study can and cannot tell us

Small sample, substantial dropout, and a restricted 3-7-year age range limit precision and generalizability.
